Brazil currency

Brazil currency

Currency and Exchange

The Real is the official currency of Brazil since 1994. Tourists who visit the country can exchange foreign currency of your country at Real or exchange in Brazil in banks, brokerages and other institutions authorized to deal in foreign exchange by the Central Bank (BC).

In addition to these institutions, companies registered with the Ministry of Tourism, such as travel agencies and hotels that have an agreement with an institution authorized to operate in the foreign exchange market with the BC, can also make the switch to small values. A list of these locations is available on the website of BC

Exchange rates prevailing on the market are freely agreed between the buyer or seller of foreign currency and the agent authorized by the Central Bank. The BC collects the average rates charged between banks authorized to deal in foreign exchange and publishes daily on its website, which also provides a tool for currency conversion.

About Brasilia...

Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, was inaugurated on April 22nd 1960, in the central area of the country. Just five years before, the area resembled a desert, with no people, scarce water, few animals and plants.

President Juscelino Kubitschek, who became President in 1956, invited the best Brazilian architects to present projects for the new capital. Oscar Niemeyer, today one of the most famous world's architects, combined straight and rounded shapes to create innovative architectural masterpieces. Lucio Costa, reknowned Brazilian urbanist, devised a lay-out combining beautiness, simplicity and functionality.

The top ten tourist cities in Brazil

The top ten tourist cities in Brazil
Most visited cities bytourists from Brazil:

Southeast - Rio de Janeiro is the number one city on the list, apersar is also in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Buzios, tropical paradise is in ninth place. St. Paul is in third place in the ranking and the vast majority of visitors do not go to business.

South - Foz do Iguacu in Parana is second on the list, then Santa Catarina is the fourth ... The state of Santa Catarina is beautiful, I've been there and I advise those who are with her in the list to give a little jump in Floripa. Also in SC in sixth position found Balneario Camboriu, can enjoy the trip to the state and make a tur by Floripa and Balneario, get a few hours away.

Northeast - Salvador is in fifth place.

Bahia was not yet, check out ... why you guys will be very well received, especially in Bahia and northeastern people are very receptive,'m suspect to talk. Then Fortaleza seventh, still do not know, but it is in my plans closer. Finalizing this region is the city Christmas sun.

North - And finally the state of Amazonas in Manaus in tenth place, with its natural beauty one of the most spectacular tourist attractions in the city of Manaus is the meeting of the waters.

Well folks, here's the tips but I confess that I would love to know there are places that are not on this list of the most visited ... would be nice to know also the beauties and attractions of the state in which we live, the example of the Holy Spirit, where I live, I'm so near Guarapari but never spent a nice time there to know the background, like the mountains and parks of the great victory that it worth ... give and take many pictures.
